Prabhat Kids School celebrated a momentous occasion, the ‘150th Anniversary of India’s National Song ‘Vande Mataram’ with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor during a special school assembly.
The celebration began with the morning prayer and under the guidance of Music Department, with pride and reverence the students and teachers united their voices to sing the soulful rendition of ‘Vande Mataram’, the powerful melody and profound lyrics by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, composed in 1875 on this day and later included in his novel Anandamath, echoed through the school premises, inspiring everyone present.
The Cultural Department Head, Mr. Nandkishor Dambale reminded students about how ‘Vande Mataram’ became a rallying cry for freedom during India’s struggle for independence.
The celebration not only honored a historical milestone but also rekindled the feeling of national pride and unity among the young learners of Prabhat Kids School. It was indeed a day of reflection, reverence and rejuvenated patriotism.
