Prabhat Kids School organized an enlightening field visit to Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, with the aim of educating students about the countless gifts that Mother Earth provides. The students were given the opportunity to explore three major departments, each offering invaluable insights into the world of agriculture and plant science.
The visit became even more engaging with the expert guidance of the PDKV professionals, who have been contributing their extensive knowledge and experience to the floriculture department for over a decade. Through this visit, the students gained a deeper understanding of how flowering plants, medicinal plants, and certain wild plants can play a crucial role in curing severe diseases. The learning experience expanded when they discovered how plants can be used for skincare and hair care, offering natural alternatives that are more effective, affordable, and time-efficient compared to market-based cosmetics.
The field visit was not only interesting and unique but also left a lasting impact, as evidenced by the enthusiastic responses and newfound curiosity of the students.
