Bridging the Gap: Teachers' Orientation Programme

Prabhat Kids School, Akola proudly organized an outstanding Teachers’ Orientation Programme 2025-26 on 19th March 2025. The session, titled ‘Building Bridges: Connecting with Adolescents,’ was conducted by the esteemed resource person Mr. Sachin Burghate (Director of ASPIRE, the Institute of Human Development, Akola). The insightful session aimed at equipping teachers with effective strategies to connect with adolescents, understand their challenges, and foster a supportive learning environment.

The event was graced by the august presence of the school’s visionary leaders, including Honourable Dr. Gajanan Nare (Founder Director, Prabhat Kids School); Mrs. Vandana Nare (Director, Prabhat Kids School); Mrs. Vrushali Waghmare (Principal) and entire Teaching and Non-teaching staff. Their esteemed presence elevated the significance of the programme, making it a grand success.

The session was skillfully hosted by Mr. Vinod Kaware, who warmly welcomed the dignitaries and participants. Mr. Sachin Burghate, with his profound knowledge and engaging delivery, captivated the audience as he explored key aspects of adolescent psychology, emotional sensitivity and effective communication techniques. He emphasized the importance of understanding adolescent behavior, building trust and creating a nurturing environment to guide students towards academic and personal success. Through real-life examples and interactive discussions, Mr. Burghate highlighted the challenges faced by adolescents, including emotional turmoil, peer pressure and self-identity struggles. He stressed the significance of active listening, empathetic responses, and maintaining a balanced approach to discipline and freedom. The session provided valuable insights on creating a bridge between teachers and students, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual respect.
