‘Mukhyamantri Mazi Shala Sunder Shala’ First Prize Winner – Prabhat Kids School Shines with Eco-Friendly Diwali Celebrations
As Diwali approached, Prabhat Kids School on 25th October, 2024 seized the opportunity to celebrate the festival of lights with a focus on both tradition and sustainability. This year, the school embraced an eco-friendly approach to Diwali, emphasizing a commitment to reducing its environmental impact while enjoying the festivities.
The event commenced at 11:30 am with a warm welcome for the dignitaries, led by the students. The cultural program began with the lighting of the lamp and a Saraswati Poojan, followed by a mesmerizing classical dance performance by the students. Adding to the celebration, Mast Samved Madadhe and Mast Vedant Dambale showcased their talents with a beautiful Maharashtrian folk song and a flawless musical instrument performance. The Music Department also presented a melodious song, followed by a traditional dance performance by the Dance Troupe.
The event also honored the school’s exceptional achievers, with the dignitaries presenting awards in recognition of their accomplishments. The theme of the program was to raise awareness among both students and the community about celebrating an eco-friendly Diwali.
The program was attended by Hon. Director Dr. Gajanan Nare, Director Mrs. Vandana Nare, Secretary Mr. Niraj Awandekar, Mrs. Shilpa Awandekar, Principal Mrs. Vrushali Waghmare, Vice Principal Mrs. Archana Belsare, Sr. Coordinator Mr. Md Asif, Manager Mr. Abhijeet Joshi, CBSE Coordinator Mr. Prashant Holkar, Director of Vector Academy Mrs. V. Anuradha, and Cultural Department Head Mr. Nandkishor Dambale. The program was hosted by Mast. Vyom Bhat, Miss. Sharvary Garkal, Mast. Ojas Shinde, Mast. Swaraj Khumkar, and Mast. Aarav Bangad, with Mast. Aditya Mantri presenting the Vote of Thanks.
