The Rotary Club, Akola (East), in collaboration with Prabhat Kids School, Akola, successfully conducted an insightful and engaging Road Safety Workshop aimed at instilling awareness among young minds about the significance of adhering to traffic rules. The workshop took place in the esteemed presence of Hon. Mr. Ravindra Bhuyar, Regional Transport Officer of Akola, alongside distinguished members of the Rotary Club, Akola (East) and the management of Prabhat Kids School.

The workshop commenced with a warm welcome extended to the distinguished guests by the host Miss. Zinal Seth. The primary focus of the workshop was to educate the students of about the importance of road safety, traffic regulations, and responsible pedestrian and driving behavior. Hon. Chief Guest Mr. Ravindra Bhuyar, in his enlightening address, emphasized the need for road safety awareness among children, highlighting how early education on traffic rules can significantly reduce road accidents. His speech was both inspiring and informative, leaving a lasting impact on the young audience. Mrs. Poonam Mundada, President of the Rotary Club, Akola (East), reinforced the importance of obeying traffic laws, wearing helmets, using seat belts, and avoiding distractions while driving. She encouraged students to be ambassadors of road safety in their families and communities.
A key highlight of the workshop was the visit of all dignitaries to ‘Prabhat’s Traffic Park’, an innovative initiative by Prabhat Kids School that serves as a miniature model of city traffic. The park is designed to simulate real-life traffic scenarios, enabling students to understand road safety measures in a practical setting. The Chief Guest and other dignitaries were thoroughly impressed by the enthusiastic explanations provided by the students about traffic rules, signals, and safe road practices. The students confidently answered various questions posed by the Chief Guest, showcasing their knowledge and understanding of road safety.
The workshop concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Manohar Virwani, acknowledging the valuable insights shared by the esteemed guests and the collective efforts of the school and Rotary Club, Akola (East) in making the event a grand success.
