On 21st March 2024, Prabhat Kids School organized an enlightening educational visit to the Patni Cold Storage and Food Processing Industries, located in Post Chandur. The primary objective of this visit was to give students a practical understanding of cold storage systems and their vital role in food preservation.
At the facility, students were introduced to various sections dedicated to storing perishable items like fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and groceries. The cold storage rooms maintained sub-zero temperatures to prevent spoilage and extend the shelf life of the goods.
During the visit, students learned about the importance of temperature control in maintaining food freshness and preventing bacterial contamination. They also gained valuable insights into the logistics of storing and distributing perishable products on a large scale.
Furthermore, students had the chance to explore the advanced technology and machinery used in the cold storage facility, including refrigeration units, temperature monitoring systems, and automated storage and retrieval systems.
