Prabhat Kids School,Akola organized The Ashadhi Ekadashi Celebration on 25th July 2026 in the school. The school authorities, teaching staff,parents and the students attended the programme with the zeal and enthusiasm.
Prabhat Kids School celebrated Ashadhi Ekadashi with a grand cultural programme, “Wari – The Divine Journey,” showcasing Maharashtra’s rich Warkari tradition and spiritual heritage.
The event began with a Vasudev Dance, followed by devotional songs, Bharud, Gaulani, and a Warkari Tradition Quiz involving parents and guests. Devotional dance performances and the grand Palkhi Procession, featuring traditional elements such as Tulsi Vrindavan, saffron flags, Ringan, Fugadi, and saintly costumes, recreated the sacred Pandharpur Wari and emerged as the programme’s highlight.
Students also displayed their artistic talents through the “Kala Pandhari” exhibition, while soulful Abhangs added to the devotional atmosphere.
The Ashadhi Ekadashi celebration concluded with a grand aarti. The event was a resounding success and fostering a sense of communal harmony and spirituality.
Prabhat’s Marathi Dept., Cultural Dept., Music Dept., and Art and Craft Dept. undertook the efforts for making the programme a grand success.
The programme was concluded by proposing vote of thanks to the organisers and the audience.
