Students explore sustainable practices at Adarsh Goseva Evam Anusandhan Prakalp

Prabhat Kids School organized an educational and enriching field visit for Grade IV students to Adarsh Goseva Evam Anusandhan Prakalp, widely known as a “Goshala.”

The primary objective of this visit was to create awareness among students about the importance of cows and the wide range of valuable products derived from them.

The visit provided students with firsthand exposure to the day-to-day functioning of a Goshala, along with fundamental insights into dairy farming practices. Under the expert guidance of Mukund Giri and Abhay Kulkarni, students gained knowledge about the preparation of vermicompost as well as the diverse medicinal and agricultural products obtained from cow dung, urine, milk, and ghee. As part of the guided tour, students visited various operational units within the Goshala, including the Sapt Gomata Mandir, the Gosangopan (cow care unit), the Compost Department, and the Ayurvedic Medicine Department. The experience offered valuable practical learning and helped students develop a deeper understanding of sustainable practices and traditional knowledge systems.
